I got a surprise email a few months ago from Craft MTN, a publication devoted to outdoor aficianados and Northwest culture. The editor had seen one of my stories on HistoryLink and asked if I could write a 1000-word feature on the history of cycling in Washington state.
My article is nestled in the summer 2020 issue amid stories on mountain biking, beekeeping and beer. It’s a beautifully produced publication available free in many locations around western Washington. Check out my story here.
